While this pen seems to be well made and of high quality materials, I ordered two of them but was disappointed when one of the pens arrived missing the tungsten screw on attachment and both arrived with week/dead batteries. Not faulting the company per say because I purchased them through Home Depot so someone might have taken the tungsten attachment prior to shipping. Am however disappointed for having spent over $50.00 for products that do not perform as advertised and arrived missing components. This and the fact there are absolutely no instructions included with the product and the website states there are no instructions for this product. Hoping that customer service will contact me and help make thinks right which would go a long ways to reassuring me of the quality of their products and possibly my ordering more from them in the future. I know that with quantity there at always "quality control" glitches that happen. Just want them to set things right with me as a potential future customer.

Similar happened to me recently, including pen light not working. I contacted Guard Dog Security and also the company from whom I bought this tactical pen. Neither replied.

I third the motion that these are crap! I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. I ordered 2 pens. The arrived today to my eagerly waiting hands. I stumbled across their other pin that does not have the flashlight but does have a tungsten tip and love it! So I ordered these two, thinking they were going to be twice is good. They’re both damn near useless! Neither flashlight works and one doesn’t write. After reading these, it seems like this type of Problem happens all the time. At least luckily I ordered mine from Amazon and only paid 18 bucks for both. I’m pissed now but would be curious by $50 with the other gentalman. What are you going to do Guard dog? I know what I’m gonna do. Not order anything from you again!
